Back home.

After the 700 mile trip back home, we unloaded the car and tucked it into the garage with the help of the same Winch. It worked great with the mounting plate I anchored to the floor of the garage.

Now just need some rest from the trip and then I will start to sort through all of the junk that has been stored in it for the last 25 + years.

Transportation day.

Well, we spent 10 hours driving to where the Fastback was being stored to pick it up. We loaded the car up on the U-Haul trailer using my Winch setup that I put together using items purchased from Harbor Freight. It's a 3000# ATV Winch mounted to a winch plate that goes into the reciever on the hitch. This thing was a lifesaver. No need to push a 3000# car onto a trailer when you can just push a button and let the winch do it for you...!!!!

Project Skeeter

Welcome to my Blog!

Over the next few years, I will be restoring my Father's 1965 Mustang Fastback in memory of him and posting the progress here. I will also be restoring my own Mustang as well, a 1967 Mustang Coupe.

My wife (a.k.a. The Crew Chief) and I have our work cut out for us, but it will all be worth it in the end. She will be the photographer and support staff for this Mustang Addiction that I have developed over the years.

The Journey has just begun........
